The platform's role is narrow. On purpose.
We provide the introduction, the communication and the reputation record. Everything else is the responsibility of the people involved.
Parents are responsible for
- Identity checks on any provider they engage
- Reference checks beyond what's shown on the network
- Background checks where required in their jurisdiction
- Employment, tax and immigration compliance
- All child safeguarding decisions
- The terms of any engagement, including pay and notice
Providers are responsible for
- The accuracy of their experience history and stated qualifications
- Holding any certifications required for the work they accept
- Their conduct, reliability and professionalism on every booking
- Tax and employment compliance in the jurisdiction they work in
The platform is responsible for
- Keeping the platform secure and your data private
- Honest presentation of community signals — never paid placement
- Removing accounts that abuse the network
- Being clear about what we do not do
